Tasty Food at Savor Saturday in Downtown

Most of us are looking forward to the end of winter and the beginning of spring with warmer temperatures and the chance to enjoy some time outside. Downtown PKB has an event coming up that will get you and your family out of the house while helping to support our downtown restaurant owners.

Savor Saturday is an annual event that was started several years ago as a way to highlight the diversity of restaurants available in downtown and increase their exposure. On Saturday, March 5 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. participating restaurants in downtown Parkersburg will be open to provide lunch, snacks, and drinks to existing customers and hopefully new customers who are looking to try something different. Some restaurants may even offer a sample or signature item special for just that day. Included in Savor Saturday is the Savor Saturday contest. To participate in our contest, make a purchase at any of the participating restaurants and receive an entry. One purchase equals one ticket. Multiple entries are accepted if multiple purchases are made. Fill out your ticket with your name and phone number and drop it in the contest bucket. One lucky winner will be drawn the following week, and the winner will be contacted by Downtown PKB. They will receive dinner for two at a downtown restaurant of their choice, a $50 value.

Participating restaurants include:
Corner Café – 231 Ann Street
Crystal Café – 402 Market Street

Gyro King – 225 7th Street
Maka Mia Pizza Downtown Parkersburg – 327 Julianna Street
Parkersburg Brewing Co. – 707 Market Street

The Blennerhassett Restaurant and Lounge – 320 Market Street
