2022 Point Park Concerts Summer Lineup Announced

Amanda Stevens, executive director of Downtown PKB, announces the 2022 Point Park Concerts on the River summer lineup for the community. This summer’s entertainment will spotlight tribute band concerts that are sure to get the crowd tapping their toes to the music. Our lineup for this concert series includes:

·         Sounds of Summer – (Beach Boys tribute) – June 3

·         High Noon (Lynyrd Skynyrd & Southern Rock tribute) – July 1

·         REO Survivor – (REO Speedwagon and Survivor tribute) – August 5th

The Point Park Concerts on the River is a free-admission concert, organized by Downtown PKB, located at Point Park in downtown Parkersburg, West Virginia. Hosted on the first Friday of the month throughout the summer months of June, July, and August, the Point Park Concerts draw crowds of over 2,500 people. In the event of rain, the backup venue for the Concert Series will be held in the auditorium at Parkersburg High School.

This summer we will once again be offering reserved seating for concert patrons. Chairs will go on sale beginning March 29 online through our website on a first come first serve basis. Chairs cost $65 each.

Our title sponsor for this year’s Concerts on the River is Discovery World on Market.
