In March of 2025 the Taste of Parkersburg was chosen as runner-up of USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice award for Best City Food Festival. We are thrilled to have receive this award, because it is the community’s love and support of this festival that led to this honor.

Downtown PKB's annual Taste of Parkersburg event offers an diverse array of food, fine wines, craft beer, and live music to locals and visitors. Offering some of the most desired cuisine and beverages, our event attracts culinary enthusiasts from across the region.
NEW THIS YEAR! Taste of Parkersburg is going cashless!
What does this mean? At the event attendees will purchase admission tickets, wine, and beer using a debit or credit card. The only exception is, food vendors are permitted to accept cash or card. It is up to them to set their methods of payment.

Enjoy songs from Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, Weezer, 3 Doors Down, and Green Day, and replay the awesome memories you had listening to these bands. Division Street pumps up the energy even more by remixing pop hits from the last decades (Britany Spears, Backstreet Boys, Smash Mouth, No Doubt), and adds a rock element. To round out the mix tape that is the show you will hear crowd favorites from Journey, Johnny Cash, Bryan Adams, and The Beatles.”

Participants will be required to purchase 'liquid' tickets to pay for drinks at the concession stands, wine booths and beer trucks.

PODA cups will be used at the event. When using a PODA cup, you are permitted to leave the event with your drink as long as you stay within the PODA district, which is on Market Street from 3rd to 9 1/2 Street. There are PODA stickers on the sidewalks to mark the boundaries of the district.
At the main tent, you will find general information, lost and found, stemless glassware, concessions, and a selfie station.
